Search Company for Gary Dix This program is useful for viewing genealogy files in the GEDCOM (.ged) format; list, family, ancestor, descendant and detail views are available. ViewGED can also be used to export a person list and remove living or other persons from a .ged file.BmpEdit is useful for editing toolbars and other bitmap (.bmp) files. It provides conventional editing features and adds some unique capabilities. FontMap may be used to view and print both installed and external fonts; it can display a variety of tables, individual characters, a keyboard view, font description, or whatever text you wish to enter. Uninstalled fonts can be viewed and printed without needing to install them; or, you can browse uninstalled fonts and selectively install ones you like. Look_At may be used to view a file in text, hex or character mode. It is useful for copying selected information from a file; text search and selection is convenient and the file won't be accidentally modified. An "Interpret" mode is available for CUR, DLL, DRV, EXE, ICO, and TTF files which expands the structure of the file and allows individual sections to be displayed. For registered users printing and export functions are available. |
